چکیده

Lower loop re-entry (LLR) flutter is a rare type of atypical right atrial flutter. Most of the reported cases occurred in association with typical flutter patterns as a transient arrhythmia. Our case is unique in the fact the LLR was sustained and persisted independently.

Arrhythmias in Patients With Pulmonary Hypertension; A Narrative Review of the Current Literature

Incidence and prognostic relevance of supraventricular arrhythmias were evaluated in nine studies. These studies investigated patients with different forms of pulmonary hypertension. Supraventricular arrhythmias were more often found in patients with group two pulmonary hypertension. Common findings in these patients were elevated right atrial pressure and diameters and reduced tricuspid annula...

Giant right atrial diverticulum: an unusual cause of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.

A case of a giant right atrial diverticulum associated with neonatal supraventricular tachycardia is reported. The electrocardiogram in sinus rhythm showed pre-excitation that may have been caused by the right atrial diverticulum adhering to the right ventricle.

Demonstration of sustained sinus and atrial re-entry as a mechanism of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.

Electrophysiological studies in five patients with documented (4) or suspected (1) paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), suggested sinus or atrial reentrance (SR or AR). Two of the patients had preexcitation, three had evidence of atrial enlargement, and all had organic heart disease. The following observations supported a diagnosis of SR and AR; 1) induction of sustained PSVT with at...

Unusual manifestations of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia as ventricular fibrillation, atrial paralysis, and hypoexcitable right ventricle.

Ventricular fibrillation occurred in an apparently healthy 19 year old man. The results of non-invasive and invasive studies suggested right ventricular dysplasia. Electrophysiological studies showed atrial paralysis, hypoexcitability of multiple areas of the right ventricle, and inducible poorly tolerated ventricular tachycardia.

AVNRT, (Atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia), atrial tachycardia and atrial flutter are 3 kinds of supraventricular tachycardia, which their mechanism are explained based on reentry. A 60-years-old man is presented with all of the above-mentioned arrhythmias, responsive to intravenous injection of adenosine. Radiofrequency ablation of the slow pathway territories cured all of them. There...
